Based in Miami, Florida, Rumbaut focuses on providing high-end services to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) and high-net-worth (HNW) individuals and families, ensuring their diverse needs and wants are met efficiently and effectively. His expertise spans across various domains including travel management, interior design project management, creative problem solving, personal shopping, and media relations. He is also proficient in Spanish, which enhances his ability to cater to a diverse clientele.
Before his current role at Make It Happen Services, Rumbaut had an impressive tenure at Rumbaut & Company, serving as President from July 1987 to December 2019. Under his leadership, the company emerged as an internationally recognized media advisory and consulting firm. Rumbaut & Company gained a reputation for its strategic guidance to prominent Spanish language media entities in the United States, Latin America, and Spain. The firm has been integral in numerous significant media strategies, executions, and transactions across these regions.
Rumbaut’s media industry experience is both broad and deep. He was a co-founder of Telemundo and the founder and president of Telemundo of Florida, overseeing WSCV-TV, Channel 51 in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. He also co-founded the first bilingual FM radio station in the U.S., “Super Q” (WQBA-FM), and WSUA-AM, Radio Suave. His contributions to the media landscape include designing TV Marti, a project under the United States Information Agency aimed at reaching the Cuban population.
His academic credentials are equally impressive. Rumbaut holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and an MBA from the University of Miami’s prestigious Executive MBA Program. Furthering his education, he completed postgraduate studies at Rutgers Business School and at Harvard Business School, specializing in business administration and management. He is also an alumnus of the RAB Radio Sales Management Program at Rutgers University and the NAB Broadcasting General Management Program at Harvard Graduate School of Business. His educational background, combined with his extensive professional experience, positions him as a prominent figure in the fields of media and in Personal Services Management for high-net-worth individuals.
